  3. ...but Evo wasn't going to be able to obstruct energy/mineral development in Santa Cruz forever.

    He kinda reminds me of the Oscar-Arias/ Costa Rican Eco-tourism fanatics but without the exploitable resources. Too much Native "magical realism"... not enough practical bread and circuses for the people.

  4. The people in Santa Cruz knew that the only thing holding them back from higher wages and a middle class lifestyle was Evo and his re-distributionist (but more importantly anti-development) policies.
