Central to Zionist mythology is the thoroughly mendacious claim that, when the first Zionists arrived in Palestine around the turn of the 20th Century, there was basically nothing there apart from a few bumbling Bedouin. This myth is 'eternalised' in the paradigm "A land without a people for a people without a land".
Nothing of course was further removed from the truth but the Palestinians and their supporters, faced with some of the most powerful (and most horrible) Zionist allies and their propaganda machine ('Hasbara'), have had the hardest time proving this, ever since.
This must-see documentary shows once again that Palestine at the time of ascendant Zionism was a thriving society: culturally, technologically, industrially and religiously. All this was essentially stolen from them, wholesale, by the Zionists, with support of those most horrid of colonialists, the British.
The video ducument shows excellently what Palestine looked like, just prior to the Palestinian Nakba, while shedding light on Zionist immigration (to Palestine) and the favouritism exercised by the British. Some moving personal Palestinian testimony too.
The theft of Palestinian land and property continues to this day of course, now supported by the sucessors of the British Empire, the American Empire (and her toothless, clawless EU vassals)
